Insurance’s President is Joe Phillips who has worked in the surety industry
since 1984 and was the former Regional Contract Manager for SAFECO
Surety, the 10th largest writer of bonds in the country. Joe is
the past President of the Surety Association of Massachusetts and has
written and given numerous presentations on issues ranging from changes in
the Massachusetts Lien Law to Financial Statement Analysis. Joe is a cum
laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts School of Management
and received his MBA from Boston College. In 1998, Joe earned the
prestigious Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding, AFSB, designation
from the Insurance Institute of America.
